CAPE COD LIVIN’

A few weeks ago, the week of the 4th, we were lucky enough to spend it with Quay’s mother’s side of the family down the Cape. The Kelly family is spread out all over the U.S. so it was a wonderful family reunion. We had an amazing time with lots of family dinners & game nights. There is nothing more important than spending time with your loved ones. This was also the first time the Kelly’s met Celia. She was especially excited to meet Grandma Pat who she calls Coco’s mama & now refers to the big, beautiful house we stayed in as Coco’s mama’s house.

Celia still mentions the house & wants to go back. So do I, baby, so do I. It housed all 25 of us for the week & the grounds were gorgeous. Apparently, Frederick Law Olmsted who designed Central Park designed it. Below are some of the amazing pictures that Quay’s cousins Ting & Tywen took. Absolutely stunning!

Celia’s favorite thing right now is water so she was quite the happy camper to be so close to the beach. We also had our water table with us which was great. She especially loved using the water to “clean” all the patio furniture. Whether you were sitting on it or not.

We even took a couple trips to the park & the little aquarium they had in town.

Celia sure did have a blast & so did we. I’m so glad I got to meet the rest of Quay’s family & I’m looking forward to seeing them again- they’ll need to meet baby #2 next!

Lucky for us, our vacation didn’t end after leaving Falmouth. Quay, Celia & I were able to head over to my mom’s place down the Cape to celebrate the 4th of July for the weekend.

I feel the only way to end this post is just to reiterate how precious time is. No amount of money or success can take the place of time spent with your family. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by so many loved ones. I love you all!

EDIT: OOPS! I ended this post without adding some of my favorite pictures from the holiday! These were taken by my sister, Maggie. Check out her blog focusandfilter.weebly.com for more of her awesome photos :)
