Celia wasn’t too impressed with my finger mustache shenanigans as you can see… but her daddy’s friends that knew him as a child say Coco (Quay’s mother) had the best Cinco De Mayo parties. Full of festive fun like piñatas, sombreros, maracas and pin the tail on the donkey. Quay and I’d love for that tradition to continue when Celia’s a bit older. Such a great way to talk to her about her Latin American history. And from what I already know The Battle of Puebla was a great one where the underdogs won! Look forward to learning more and sharing with Celia as she grows.
